"Absolutely gorgeous cheese and onion pie, chips and mushy peas! Best pie I've ever tasted! Staff friendly and jovial - very helpful keeping some pie for us to eat after a pint in white lion! We even had to take a piece home for our next door neighbour! Sitting outside at the tables in the pleasant evening sunshine. What a wonderful thing to do on a Friday evening bike ride - a delightful 16 mile round trip."

"I'm from wigan and I know a thing or 2 about pies... got a homemade steak pie chips and gravy. Didnt need the gravy it were that good. Best pie I've had in my life. It were that good I went back and got 2 more for tea with the wife later. Served with a smile, left with a smile. 10/10"
